Position Summary…What you’ll do…About the TeamThe Senior Software Engineer/Data Analyst team is a highly skilled and diverse group of professionals who are responsible for delivering actionable insights and data-driven decision-making capabilities to Walmart’s executive leadership. Leveraging advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and data visualization tools like Python, R, Tableau/Looker, the team designs and deploys interactive dashboards, develops balanced scorecards and operational excellence KPI reporting, and uses machine learning algorithms to identify patterns and predict future trends. With a focus on respect for the individual, acting with integrity, service to the customer/member, and striving for excellence, the team collaborates with cross-functional teams to define analytics requirements and integrate predictive insights into business processes.
