We manage hundreds of HBase clusters that handle more than 25 million requests per second during our daily peak traffic. Our mission is not only to keep HBase online but also to keep it fast, cost-effective, and easy for product teams to build scalable systems on top of it.We build automation to detect and isolate bad hardware, improve HBase table configurations based on workloads, manage rolling version upgrades, and recover from a wide variety of disaster scenarios. We also provide tailored consultation to the numerous product teams who use HBase. Finally, we are active contributors to the open-source project, Apache HBase.
