About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Operations Specialist within Payment Operations - wires operations team. This team is responsible for processing wire transfers that stop in exceptions and require a repair, handle various payments exceptions and escalations specific to the wire transfer product. The US based wires team has multiple shifts starting at 6AM EST - 8PM EST covering both the Federal Reserve (Fedwire) and Clearing House Interbank Payment System (CHIPS) hours of operation.The role will be primarily responsible for handling various tasks related to Wire Processing (USD and Foreign Exchange). A Successful candidate will have thorough knowledge on Nostro/Vostro, Foreign Exchange, SWIFT. Additional responsibilities include in-depth knowledge of the wires processing, the ability to recognize and mitigate risks in the wires business, escalate the issues that may arise as part of the end of day process, and the ability to work horizontally across the organization. Works closely with other EWS teams, such as the Payments Command Center team, Production Support, Customer Support Team, EWS Risk team, and others.
