Position Summary…What you’ll do…What you’ll doThe Walmart Tax Department is looking for a Sr. Manager, Global Tax Market Support to join our Global Tax Team.Support tax optimization with non-U.S. markets and their team members, contribute to achieving team goals, and assist in making well-informed decisions in complex situations.Support the enhancement of our global governance framework, ensuring tax positions are thoroughly vetted, documented, and there is utmost integrity in our reporting.Ensure our tax positions are properly included on tax returns and provisions, including effective documentation so positions are sustained upon auditSupport the enhancement of our global governance framework, enraging tax positions are properly included on tax returns and provisions, including effective documentation so positions are sustained upon audit.Collaborate with other Tax Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in HQ Tax Team to ensure U.S. tax, compliance, and reporting obligations are met.Monitor global tax developments to ensure we remain up to date on tax positions and structure.
