Work ScheduleStandard (Mon-Fri)Environmental ConditionsOfficeJob DescriptionHow you will make an impact:The Senior Inside Technical Sales Specialist will represent the Applied Biosystems, Invitrogen, and Thermo Scientific Molecular Biology, Sample Preparation, and Mass Spec portfolios, supporting the research of our academic, government, biotech, and pharmaceutical customers.Job DescriptionThe Senior Molecular Biology and Mass Spec Inside Sales (MBMSIS) TSS operates within the Biosciences Division (BID) and has the responsibility for sales across a focused portfolio of products in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will apply sales experience, knowledge of relevant applications, product expertise, market intelligence, and territory skills to grow sales and profitability. The role is office based in Carlsbad, CA and will engage with customers through teleconferences, email and phone communications, and face-to-face meetings. The territory includes accounts throughout Southern California, UT, NM, HI, CO, IA, AZ, NE, and KS. Supports Western US accounts for Mass Spec Portfolio. Requires a minimum of 25% customer facing travel.
