Job DescriptionThe Bureau of Community Health and Prevention (BCHAP) under the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) is seeking a dynamic and experienced applicant to provide accounting and financial expertise for state appropriations, federal grants, and other appropriation types for BCHAP program staff. The selected candidate will develop and implement financial systems and reporting tools, monitor federal grant reporting and submissions, and provide technical assistance and training to program staff to ensure compliance with funding laws, regulations, and guidelines. This role also facilitates site visits, participates in proposal reviews, and maintains records to monitor compliance with standards, rules, and regulations for a multitude of funding streams. Moreover, this role includes overseeing and supervising one Grants Management Specialist, ensuring proper management and compliance of all grants-related activities.
