Job Description SummaryBecome part of a winning team and help to deliver the Green Energy transition.The North and South Europe Grid System Integration (GSI) team designs and delivers a wide range of high voltage AC and DC transmission projects, and is looking for a “Secondary Design - Verification and Validation” Engineer to join the team.These large and complex projects have many design elements and requirements, and it is critical that all the design work undertaken fully takes into account the complete range of needs and delivers a design that meets its functional objectives.As a “Secondary Design - Verification and Validation Engineer”, you will be responsible for reviewing the key elements of the light current systems design (Protection, control, automation, telecommunication, Metering etc) across a range of projects, and assessing whether it meets the required quality, safety, customer and regulatory standards, and fully satisfies the operational needs of the Customer. Should any area of concern be identified, you will work closely with, and advise the design team, on the best way to resolve the issue.
