Resident Engineer in Troy, MI. Duties: Design, develop, and validate advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to enhance vehicle safety. Perform vehicle testing (system checkout). HiL/SiL/ Test Bench support. SW updates, troubleshooting, mechanical inspection. Support DFMEA reviews. Investigate quality returns. Assist in developing documentation. Regularly attend customer meetings and test drives (including multi-day). Local support of prototype vehicle setups Acceptance drives of systems for test vehicles. Contribute to requirements analysis and documentation. Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Additionally, requires 2 years of experience with: Test Bench support/ Recreating failures and setting up Hardware test benches for Modules; Requirements analysis and documentation; SW updates, troubleshooting, mechanical inspection; and Warranty analysis of modules and designing tests to reproduce field failure.
