This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Memphis facility on a full-time basis.The RoleGeneral Motors is looking for Human Resources (HR) and Labor Relations (LR) professionals who are excited to help lead in the HR space. As a Regional Site HR/LR Lead, you will be directly responsible for delivery of HR and LR services at our Memphis, TN Customer Care & Aftersales (CCA) Parts Distribution Center. In addition, you will function as a People Leader to the Site HR/LR Leads located at our Cincinnati, OH, Charlotte, NC, and Jackson, MS Parts Distribution Centers.Within your region, you will provide leadership and direction that supports our General Motors' vision, mission, values, cultural behaviors and business objectives. You will work strategically with your direct reports and assigned functional business leaders to support our key HR and LR objectives aimed at improving culture, improving leadership effectiveness, improving engagement, developing talent, and administering/negotiating contractual provisions that yield productivity and cost effectiveness for your respective site. You will also have responsibility for some site Safety related activities at your designated site.
