Job Description SummaryThe Software Engineer II will assist in development of building, integration, and deployment of instrument software for a medical device. The right candidate is a positive, motivated, and forward-looking person who collaborates often and effectively with project team members of differing disciplines, presents a positive and professional demeanor, and is willing to learn about the BD medical device instrumentation and applications. They will work under the supervision of the software project team lead and will participate in a full software development life cycle, which includes development in such areas as graphical user interfaces, structured databases, reporting engines, network communications, as well as various process control systems (thermal, optical, mechanical, robotic, and vision).
