Position Overview:The Supplier Quality Professional position represents the Supplier Quality and Safety Development (SQD) function in the Vestas North America Region. This position partners with our suppliers and Vestas Procurement, HSE, and Operations teams to analyze and manage risks related to quality and safety. Key responsibilities include analyzing supplier risk, monitor supplier performance, and development of improvement plans.This role engages with a diverse range of suppliers including transportation, maintenance and construction labor contractors, and warehousing.The SQD function and its role in managing supplier quality and safety is critical in maintaining Vestas' position as the top wind turbine OEM in North America.
