Position DescriptionJob SummaryPOSITION SUMMARY:Performs one or a combination of the following duties such as: sweeping floors; removing debris; emptying scrap containers; cleaning yard; shoveling snow; unloading raw materials and supplies from railcars, trucks, etc.; cleaning furnaces; moving materials; shoveling sand and other materials. Must be able to drive forklifts and the front-end loader.Required QualificationsESSENTIAL DUTIES- Operates a jitney to transport material and equipment in and about Saw and Grind, Packing, and Shipping Departments. Assists other workers in the Saw and Grind Department, as necessary. Operates swing frame grinder, hand grinder and small chipping hammers. Learn and be capable of performing the duties of Machine Operator (S&G) when necessary.
