Job Description SummaryGE Vernova Power Conversion & Storage (GEV-PC&S) Division provides electrical power conversion systems for Naval, industry, marine, and Oil & Gas applications. Typical scope includes medium and low voltage (MV & LV) power converters, motors, transformers, E-house, switchgear, and control as well as the associated power systems engineering.The Power Electronics Engineer role is considered a lead role within the business and expected to be an individual with deep technical capability and hands-on experience / skills within power electronics converters with a strong emphasis on development and applications. The successful candidate is expected to take ownership of power converter designs, analyses, build / manufacturing and testing while supporting controls and software development, real time modeling and simulation to meet equipment, system and customer application requirements.
