Location:Medical Center - Fort WorthDepartment:PharmacyShift:Varying Shifts (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours:40Summary:To assist pharmacist in providing professional pharmacy services to the patients and staff of Cook Children’s Medical Center and the community we serve. Clerical tasks will encompass answering phones, recording, filing, and reporting pharmacy activities and services. The technical tasks will be performed after experience is gained, and necessary skills and competency demonstrated. Documentation of training must be on file prior to working independently. All tasks will be performed under the direct supervision of an experienced pharmacist. Must be competent in following pharmacy production areas: Advanced Omnicell processing, advanced sterile compounding, and compliance audits while working in the specialized area of the operating room pharmacy satellite. Must also be competent in advanced non-sterile preparation, and/or must be trained and able to work in central pharmacy as requested.
