The MetaVerse Optical Engineering team conceives, designs and builds the optical interfaces to the MetaVerse. We bring state-of-art display and optical technologies into Meta’s AR/VR products. We drive technology selection, development and maturation. We design the optical components and associated processes and metrology. We then integrate these technologies into Meta’s AR/VR products.The Optical Process Engineer identifies, develops and qualifies new processes and equipment that unlock breakthrough product features and designs. You will work with lens, display, research, systems, and architecture to prototype, qualify and ramp novel optical fabrication and assembly technologies. You will focus on technologies that drive a paradigm shift in how we manufacture optics.
