This entails maintaining data collection systems, engine/test cell instrumentation, performing mechanical work in/around the test cells, and collecting data for engineering development purposes. Some commonly used data acquisition/monitoring systems include Cyflex, Calterm, Indicom, AVL, Horiba, CAI, FTIR, PM measurement, soot carts, load cells, and fluid flow meters.
