Job DescriptionThe Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing is seeking a Contracted Nurse Investigator to investigate complaints against nurses, including advanced practice nurses, that are licensed in Massachusetts. Key responsibilities include independently overseeing an investigation caseload and gathering evidence in the form of legal and clinical documents, witness statements and occasional video evidence.Additionally, the selected candidate will be expected to analyze the evidence and write detailed investigation reports to present to members of the Nursing Board. This will involve reviewing these documents for completeness, content, typographical errors, and compliance with regulations and statutes.
