KATU/KUNP is looking for a Director for our Newscasts. We are looking for a creative team player who can direct newscasts and lifestyle shows in collaboration with producers and talent. Previous directing experience is necessary.Responsibilities:Direct/TD assigned newscasts and local programing productions using Ignite production automation. Knowledge of the Ignite production software is not necessary but, is preferredWorking knowledge of Avid iNews, Media Central and Media Composer is preferredWorking knowledge of both Cryron Lyric and Prime software a plusCreate, manage and edit graphics using Chyron Axis and Camio Asset ManagerOperation of camera equipment, audio mixer and graphics playout machinesSupervise and direct studio production staff when necessaryCoordinate with Director/Floor Director on microphone assignment, staging and lighting for various local programsMaintain production studio and control roomPerform other tasks related to the position as assigned, which may include website contributionRequirements:
