What will you do?The methods and continuous improvement intern will play a crucial role in supporting the industrialization of a new mechanical assembly line and assisting with daily production operations. Responsibilities include:Assisting the production team with daily operational requirements.Coordinating with vendors for the installation of equipment.Analyzing line balancing to optimize efficiency.Developing a project plan for the ramp-up phase of new production.What qualifications will make you successful for this role?Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a program in industrial engineering or a related field.Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.Familiarity with industrialization concepts, including line balancing, time studies, budget adherence, and project management.Effective communication skills for subcontractor coordination and group interactions.Proficiency in Power BI, Excel VBA, Access database creation, and process automation.
