What you’ll do:Develop and manage the overall labor and employee relations strategy for India and South Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand). Provide guidance to HR and leadership teams on employee relations strategies and positive employee relations. Provide guidance and oversight for local union negotiations. Stay updated union negotiations, emerging trends in labor & employee relations and Labor Laws in the region and prepare organisation in adanve to respond to those trends. Develop, interpret and recommend program goals, policies and procedures and courses of action within the region while working within the parameters of the corporate philosophy and strategic business decisions.A. Role encompassed a comprehensive cover across all business on strengthening processes like, Employee relations policies & framework, Risk assessment & statutory compliance, Wage settlements, Management charters, service conditions for local salary graded non-unionized staff & workmen category employees, Contingent workforce policy, strategies & approach
