Job Description SummaryGE Vernova Gas Power HD Services Design Engineering E&I is looking for a Design Engineer Electrical Systems for gas turbine power plants and combined cycle power plants (CCPPs).You will be a critical part of the entire project lifecycle from initial scoping through design and field installation, support, and validation.As a Design Engineer you will work closely with the Power Services project engineering team and customers to learn about existing gas turbine power plants and develop solutions that bring significant value to the customers and the PS business via Conversions, Modifications, and Upgrades (CM&Us) and NPIs. In this role, you will work on design, development and provides support to the global fleet of GE Vernova Heavy Duty Gas Turbines for accessory systems and related Balance of Plant equipment to improve upon reliability, performance, emission, efficiency and safety. Projects vary from small electrical system upgrades to repowering entire gas turbine generator set with latest proven technology. In this role you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
