It operates a fully integrated global commodities business that is able to offer services to clients spanning derivatives risk management and advisory, physical trading and logistics and structured finance products.THE TEAMThe Systematic Market Making Commodities Trading team is responsible for making electronic markets across a variety of commodities including oil, gas, power and metals. The team has a wide remit including, optimizing hedging and portfolio risk decisions, automating quoting, and developing algorithms and systematic strategies to trade derivatives. The team deploys statistical techniques and mathematical models to enhance the decision making process across pricing, risk modelling and execution, with the overall aim of improving business performance while working closely with sales and the other trading desks.
