Why Patients Need YouWe have an exciting opportunity to join the Pfizer Environmental, Health & Safety team as a Manager, Industrial Hygiene. This position is responsible for development and implementation of Industrial Hygiene strategy for the site.This role will ensure the site meets its regulatory compliance obligations, conforms with Pfizer Global EHS Standards and expectations, ensures the protection of our colleagues form both acute and chronic injuries and illnesses that could be associated with exposure to occupational hazardous agents.Due to the size and complexity of the site, this role will have the opportunity to coach, develop and lead a small team of industrial hygiene specialists to ensure appropriate systems are in place to control a variety of workplace hazards including potent compounds (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API)) as well as more traditional regulated compounds, chemicals, noise biological and ionizing and non-ionizing radiation sources using contemporary hygiene controls.
