ROLE SUMMARYAs a Director in our Oncology Research Unit, you will lead the Bioanalytical team responsible for Large and Small-molecule characterization in our ADC Discovery organization. The Bioanalytical team is an integral part of our Protein and Bioanalytical Sciences (PBS) group. This multidisciplinary team is at the forefront of characterizing the small molecules, antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and novel protein technologies. The team responsibilities include stability testing of new therapeutic compositions, the bioanalytical assessment of ADC payload release, cellular deposition, exploration of new delivery technology formats, and assessment of binding affinity for both small and large molecules. You will drive a collaborative team, focusing on expanding technological capabilities to enhance the capacity and efficiency of key deliverables, crucial for advancing the discovery of novel ADCs aimed at cancer treatment. As a strategic and operational cornerstone, you will collaborate with other senior members of the ADC Discovery Research Group to build and drive Pfizer’s ADC strategy and advance Pfizer’s preclinical pipeline.
