Job DescriptionPosition SummaryAssists in the deployment of secure Red Hat operating systems and associated applications. Troubleshoot security issues including architectures, network settings, local and network access.Will be part of a team of personnel supporting mission management system. The team is tasked to provide cyber security expertise in support of projects and systems as needed.ResponsibilitiesSupports the implementation of new and existing security solutions. Participation in the creation and or maintenance of policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures as well as participating in vulnerability audits and assessments.Document and apply system and operational, software and firmware patches and or upgrades. Test and document upgrades to insure they conform with Information Assurance (IA) policies.
